We have summarized what difference MLO (multi-link) technology actually makes in a factory environment.
The key to WiFi 7 is MLO (Multi-Link Operation) rather than maximum speed. By bundling 2.4/5/6GHz simultaneously, the connection does not drop even if interference occurs on one band.
The 6GHz band has different regulatory allowances by country and suffers high attenuation in concrete and steel structures. Using the existing AP placement design as-is may result in insufficient coverage.
For sites that need stability more than speed, WiFi 7's MLO provides a substantial improvement. However, it is only meaningful if the devices support it.
If you tell us your site conditions, we will review a configuration that can be applied.
